Brass and Music Tuition

Hi there, brass players and music students!

Well, I am a brass specialist with over 30 years experience of performing and teaching a whole range of styles. I am also a classroom teacher of over 20 years with great experience of teaching GCSE Music and BTEC Music and Music Technology courses, as well as working for some of the exam boards in a professional capacity as well.

I can:

• teach you how to play any brass instrument successfully using proven methods, regardless of whether you are a beginner or working towards a high grade
• work on a range of musical styles with you
• help you to build confidence in your own ability
• identify areas of technique which need improvement and help you to improve them
• enter you for exams, should you wish to
• provide tutoring in music theory, composition, GCSE, BTEC and A-Level studies.

I am fully DBS checked and have BMus (Hons) in music performance, PGCE (Secondary Music), LTCL and PGDip (Educational Leadership).
